Character 3- Primadonna- Makeup &Hair idea

Image
For my third character, the makeup I made was a typical black eyeliner, with a glossy accent. Primadonny's skin is supposed to look so rosy, so it will be more beautiful makeup, emphasising the cheeks and of course the red lips that testify of status and fame. As for the hairstyle, it will definitely be a classic chignon, with some decorations in the hair

Character 2- Black Swan- Makeup & Hair idea

Image
For my second character Black Swan the makeup I chose was the black smoky eyes, the makeup that deals with rebellion with the winged wings on the sides. My face is still naturally beautifully warm and I emphasised my cheeks giving them a clear contour. My lips were painted in nude-pink colour. Makeup suggestions were as varied as the pictures below. However, I chose the easiest version due to the limited time of the photo session. I like the makeup style in the photo below, which is very good for Black Swan versions.   There were different interpretations of my idea. But I liked my version the most, that is made three pony tail, from each of them make 3 braids. Then, these braids start from the top of the head and form the head of the swan.

Character 1 - White Angel- Makeup & Hair style

Image
My first thought about the hairstyle for White Angel is the curls or wig from which is made bun and messy hair. The makeup I chose for the white angel is the golden smoky eyes that symbolise purity and innocence. Also light pale face skin, white eyebrows and eyelashes, nude or pale lips   To the end not yet confirmed or the sentence will not change in the matter of makeup .

Ballerina story- creating a characters

Image
My project consisted of three acts - creating 3 ballerina’s character called White Angel, Black Swan and Primadona. White Angel is a makeup of an innocent ballerina who is just starting out as a dancer. The makeup I chose for this character is a fantastic creation that would look like a clean sheet that would prove delicate and pure. The costume I chose for the white angel was a typical ballet suit, a tutu dress and a white lace body and orange ballet pointe shoes. As for the hairstyle, I made curly hair that strengthened the delicate features of the model's face. I added a white theatrical mask that gave the model a sense of mystery. The background I chose for the photos was natural in flesh and black. The session consisted of a series of faces and hands only. My next character is Black Swan. I saw many different versions of this ballet character. My Black Swan is a typical rebellion, who fights with destiny. Therefore, the makeup I chose was a classic black smoky eye, nude lips...

My Presentation- Ballerina story

Image
After a long research, my plans changed as for makeup and wigs. My story was based on a ballerina from her innocence to a rising star. Why did I choose a ballerina? Because looking at many ballerina books always associated me with artistic beauty, innocence, with grace and delicate movements of the body. I want to run this project because I love ballet. Besides, the book will always remain as a memorial after my studies to show to the next generations. As a makeup artist is easier to create visuals to show emotions through make-up and styling, making something truly extraordinary. I wanted to go beyond something more than just a book, something that was like a legacy that would be appreciated and passed on makeup lovers.  It is often said that nothing else matters but the story. Through ballerina, I not only wanted to show my makeup skills but also through many photo shoots and the appropriate light of the exquisite beauty.

Chosen right Model

Choosing the correct model for this story turned out to be no small challenge. To this Story I needed a ballet dancer to complete the project. It worked out without much problem. Ola devoted herself to 100% of the whole project. I think it is very photogenic and the camera I like very much.Below I link to a video from our last photo session.

Beauty Direction for my FMP

Image
Beauty Direction The attention to detail will be the key task when it comes to makeup and hair, and the extremely appropriate selection of wigs. Each character will represent different stories, so will require another characterisation to capture the viewer’s attention. Each character will be unveiled in a few poses and placed in different locations. Makeup will be adapted to each character, theatrical, quite intense and a little blurred depending on the heroine.  Each character will require a different styling, props and costume. Each image will be charged with emotion, combining dark fantasy with images alluding to death, isolation, intimacy, and strength. Each character will need special models, which will be suitable for that role.

My FMP Project- Introduction

Image
Project Introduction “ The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” -  Eleanor Roosevelt The aim of this project is to create a portfolio book showing make-up artist skills through visual storytelling. Living the Dream will present the artist's unique style, while also displaying the technical skills and techniques that any capable MUA should have. The reader will step into a fantasy world through make-up, wig styles and our unfulfilled dreams. This book will not only be for people that want to use the makeup artist tips but also for potential future employers. Living the Dream will be a collection of photographs that display a makeup artist's best work. “A book is a dream that you hold in your hands ”-  Neil Gaiman, 2013 Have you ever daydreamed about a magical world, but never gotten round to putting all your thoughts on paper? Magic is often the key in fantasy. Creating a fantasy world means building the world based upon re...
